So here it is... what you've all been waiting for me to tell! This might be anticlimactic for some because you already knew, but for others it's brand new.
As some of you may know, this past spring break I went to Guatemala to work with missionaries Dave and Debbie Amsler and their ministry, One Way Guatemala. We assisted in children's ministry and had the opportunity to go into schools and minister to thousands of people.
Since I am graduating in 3 weeks, my post-graduation plans had been consuming my mind and I had no idea where God was going to take me. Well, since returning from Guatemala, I have been given the opportunity to return for 3 months in the summer as an intern with the Amslers. I am beyond excited about this and what God is going to use me for!
I started this blog as a way to communicate with friends and family while I am gone. It is also a way to share prayer needs with you all. As I prepare for this trip, please keep in your prayers:
1. Dave and Debbie and their ministry. For health, direction, and favor with the schools.
2. One Way team- Dave and Debbie have 2-3 Guatemalans that work with them that are a vital part to what they do.
3. The AIM teams- While I am there, I will be helping the Amslers work with various high school and college ministry teams from around the US.
4. and myself- I will be in Guatemala for 3 months and would love your prayers.
Also, for me to live down there, I need to raise $2,000 in about a month's time. This is a complete step of faith and I know that God will provide. If you are interested in supporting me in anyway financially, you can send a donation to:
